My sister and I are concerned about the world we live in. We talked about that a lot to our mom. She told us we could make a difference by doing something ourselves. My mother is a designer. So we designed a hand bag with the help of our mom that would raise money for different charities that we feel are important. For instance, our cousins in Italy created an orphanage in Africa for children with Aids, so we decided to donate a portion of the money that we make from one of the bags to that charity. We also plan to donate money to several other charities including an environmental charity, and a charity for children who have lost parent(s) in the Iraq war. We hope you find an interest in supporting us in our mission and designs, since the bag is not only fun, but the design is versatile. You can turn the strap (which comes off) into a necklace, and into a belt. It has a peace sign closure on the bag which can be detached and put on all three. Peace is also written on the bag in 15 different languages. We all need some peace and love. We love our bag!! We hope you do too. So thank you for reading our letter. We hope to inspire other kids to do the same. There is always some way to help and you can have fun doing it.
